Mahmud Alam is a translator specialized in the development and humanitarian sector. He also has vast experience in localizing brands, services, and websites for Bangladesh. He has also worked Bangla diaspora around the globe.
In his more than seven years of career, Mahmud has worked with NGOs, INGOs, government and private sector ventures. Presently, he is working with Translators without Borders. Here, he is bridging language gaps, and guiding the volunteer community. He is also a consultor of TWB partners. His consultation aims at including language services in their program designing.
Mahmud’s strength is in conducting language research. He also provides service terminology building and developing glossaries and extended style guides. In short, he has been managing language projects with cutting-edge language technologies.
