
Asmaul Husna

Asmaul Husna worked as publication associate in the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). CPD is a leading South Asian think tank for more than two years. As a diligent member of the CPD, she was engaged in editing and publishing of books, journal articles, policy briefs and working papers.
She is an editor, translator, and writer. For a few years, she worked as sub-editor in a renowned daily newspaper, the Daily Observer. She also taught English Literature in an English medium school, Academia . She studied English Language and Literature as a student.
As a passionate literature lover, she delves into her interest in writing poems and short stories. In 2014, she won the First-runner up prize for her poem in the poetry writing competition titled “Pursuit of Poetry.” The competition was organized by North South University, Bangladesh.
Asmaul Husna is devoted to academic research too. In fact, she presented several research papers in national and international conferences. Many of her editorials, feature stories, book reviews, and travelogues are regular on English newspapers.
